The room had a cosy cottage feel, making it feel like a home away from home. I loved the direct access from the garden, it made me feel connected to nature. Having an open fireplace in the room was a great touch, perfect for chilly evenings.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared patio area in the twin bedded room.

The value for money at this place was amazing! The room was clean and stylish, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful and the gardens were lovely.
The morning meal could have been improved by having more outside seating options to enjoy an evening drink.

Excellent service and beautiful rustic cottages created a truly memorable stay. The highlight was definitely the delicious breakfast and the mouthwatering dinner menu with local specialties like Springbuck pie and ostrich fillet. They also had a great selection of local wines and imported beers. Our room and bathroom were clean and stylish, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Despite a few small drawbacks like the lack of fans or air conditioning and a set menu at the restaurant, we still had a wonderful time at Old Mill Guest House. I highly recommend this hotel.

Located at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain range, this cozy cottage-styled room with a double bed and ensuite shower was like a peaceful oasis. The fluffy towels made me feel like I was wrapped in a cloud, ensuring a restful night at the Old Mill Guest House. Plus, the scenic routes winding through rural farmlands added an extra touch of tranquility.
Noise from rain on the tin roof and passing trucks was slightly disturbing at night.

Staying in this charming, historical property was a delightful experience. The garden was well-maintained, providing a calm location for reading and contemplating. the breakfast was impeccable and included a full continental offering, which was a perfect start to the day. The location was perfect for getting some work done, with plenty of peace and quiet to really focus.
The bathroom facilities were a bit basic, with an old-fashioned shower and small sink. the furniture in the bedroom was quite outdated, and some may find it unappealing.
